Oh, Tamara will be shocked! Think "Lolita". A very fine Russian, then Russian/American author of the twentieth century. I took an entire semester of Nabokov in college... It was difficult, because HE is difficult.
I hardly think I write like Nabokov, but am happy for the comparison!
I took the "test" and I write like Cory Doctorow. Never heard of him. I tried it a few times and two out of three were Doctorow. I'd never heard of the other guy either.
Of course the only writing samples I had were blog posts.
I'm glad you're happy with Nabokov (I've never heard of him either Tina!). I think you're an excellent writer.
Cool. I took a couple of different things I wrote and came up with a different person each and every time. Still it was fun. Can you believe I write like Stephen King? :)

I don't know who he is.

LOL! I went back and tried a writing sample of a short story I started for the kids about a gold fish and it said I write like Stephen King!!
Would love to know how this thing works. At least I know who Stephen King is!

Mary - must be quite a suspenseful story - I hope the goldfish makes it!
