I just love this picture. Zhenya is such a wonderful artist for his age. Look at the detail! The waving grasses at the bottom of the lake, the little fish jumping... Sorry, I think I'd love this even if one of my children hadn't done it, but this is so illustrative of a sweet aspect of Zhen's personality. He just loves animals. And he has a wonderful way of seeing things.

That deserves a framing and hanging on a family wall. He has talent and all the detail that he put into it. Yes, you have a right to be proud of your son.

A while ago I showed this to Zhen and let him read the comments.... Until you suggested it, Christine, I hadn't really thought about doing that.
A bit later he came and gave me a hug. I'd forgotten about it by then, but he asked, "Why'd you put it on the internet, mom?" So it clearly meant something to Zhen. Thanks everyone for being so sweet.
I love it too! I look forward to the time when my kids art starts to look a bit more, well, like art!
Keats is pretty good, but Seth is more abstract I guess I could say. Lark is still really into body art.
